Dante wrote his "Inferno" in the thirteenth century and it has still being acknowledged throughout the 20th century. Many say, this is a philosophical thoughts of Dante, some scholars say, first of all this comedy is a science, and then it is creationism. No matter what they say, Hell is an unpleasant and scary place! Although, the entire story is based on imagination because there has not been any person died and took a trip to Hell, Purgatory, or Paradise and came back to tell us about the journey. But this poem is a message in the light of Christianity, which gives human being choices to pick his own destiny after death.
The following videos are 4 musical movements of inferno, a recording of George Mason University Wind Ensemble under the direction of Anthony Maeillo & Dante's Inferno- Clay Animation. Awsome work of art!

During my research on Dante's Inferno, I came across a site that has recreated the story in the modern day using paper puppets. Although the movie hasn't been widely distributed, it has won Best Feature Film of the 2007 Lausanne Underground Film Festival awards. I believe it would definitely be a must see for those that were captivated by Dante's work. Dante is dressed in present day clothing while the backdrop of Hell is now a run down metropolis of "used car lots, strip malls, gated communities, airport security checks, and U.S. Capitol". The some characters residing in hell are replaced with modern day politicians. The film definitely demonstrates how a 700 year old poem can transcend through time. The characters within Dante's poem can easily be replaced with persons in the modern day.
